Reading aloud encourages students to construct meanings, connect ideas and experiences across texts, use their prior knowledge, and question unfamiliar words from the text. It has many more benefits including better understanding of the words.
To help keep our students reading and build a reading habit, Principal Rob and Vice Principal Sopheak visit each class to listen to our students read. They listen to the students and note that ISBB students read very well in English.
