Mr. Rob RINDZEVICIUS

graduated with a teaching diploma many years ago and is currently a registered teacher with the Department of Education, Victoria, Australia. He has taught all grade levels throughout his long career, and this year at ISBB he will be teaching Developmental Studies, Leadership Skills and Community Justice. He will be working with the older students in developing their future pathways. Mr Rob also holds a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Deakin University, Victoria, Australia,

Mr. Nith Sopheak

is currently a Language Arts and Social Studies teacher at International School Battambang. He holds a Master’s Degree in Education Studies from University of Canberra, Australia

Dr. Raymond Zepp

is our Mathematics advisor to the high school teachers at the International School of Battambang. He received his Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati, USA, majoring in complex analysis and algebraic topology. He received his PhD in Mathematics Education from the Ohio State University, USA.

Mr. Bruce Chaplin

holds a Graduate Diploma of Facilities Management and Planning from Melbourne University, and is a qualified Electrical Mechanic in Australia. He plans to work with ISBB students developing their projects in STEAM contests which include Engineering, IT, and Robotics skills. He has previously lectured in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Mr. Juddeus 'Jude' Vizmanos

is a new teacher at ISBB. He has a background in teaching English, Performing Arts, Music, and Physical Education in an IB International School in China for ten years. Mr. Jude also has four years of experience in school administration, including special events management and is very keen to assist our students to improve their performances in the international competitions. He holds a Degree in Communication Arts, majoring in Broadcast, and he is a certified TEFL/ TESOL teacher. He will also be involved in teacher training at ISBB. “I believe that educators should always be lifelong learners both in life and career.” He wants to give his students the same passion for learning.

Mr. Peter Adam

Mr Peter has two university degrees (BEng. Electrical Engineering and BSc. Computer Science) from a top university in the USA. He has lived in Asia for more than twenty-five years. He has worked for many years as a high school and university instructor and engineering manager. As Socrates said, “Wisdom begins in wonder.” His goal is to present complex material in novel ways and delight students with many hands-on math and science demonstrations which the students cherish. He is a successful internet marketer and experienced web developer. He is also a federally licensed aircraft mechanic.

NOTE: In 2023, Teachers Jude, Marco, Jehazael, Oliver, Antonio, Carolann, and Jethel all gained their Camblige Teaching Certificates and are qualified to teach the Cambridge Curriculum.

Mr. Marco Kuehn

Mr. Marco Kuehn is an English and Maths Teacher at the International School of Battambang. He has a background in the corporate sector working for world-leading companies in several countries in Europe. He holds a degree in Business Administration and is a certified ESL Teacher (English as a Second Language) with a vast experience with young learners. “My motivation is to wake up every morning knowing that I can give something back to the world by sharing the knowledge I accumulated over the past 10 years. Education is the future of every country’s new generation so that it should be my top priority.”

Ms. Jehazael Ocon

teaches English, Maths and Science to the juniors at ISBB. Ms. Jehazael has a vocational course of Computer Science and Technology, three years Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a TESOL/TEL certificate holder. She was an office assistant and secretary at 1Q International School, and an educator for 9 years in both kindergarten and primary levels. She is a warm and caring teacher who wants all children to be successful learners and works to create a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating, encouraging and adaptive to the various needs of her students.

Mr. Bödicker Oliver

Mr. Bödicker Oliver is a focused and passionate teacher for ISBB. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts from the vocational academy in Frankfurt am Main, Germany in 2015. He also completed the Diploma of International TEL and TESOL Training in 2018 with outstanding results, His strengths lie in English, Geography and ICT. Oliver has gained an immense wealth of experience during his professional career. He has enriched his skills and talents in countries such as Australia, New Zealand and the South-East Asian region. He has worked in various NGOs before starting at ISBB, and applies his knowledge of culture, country and people in his daily teaching. Research and development in the education field is one of his priorities, and in the future he aims to reinforce and improve systems where he can.

Mr. Antonio Pasadas

is a TEFL certified Teacher at ISBB. He also holds a Bachelor in European Law from the University of Lisbon, Portugal. He has lived in the UK and Ireland for over 10 years working for worldwide business companies as an advisor, manager and trainer, Most recently, he specialises in teaching English, Social Sciences and Computer Studies. Mr. Antonio has a passion for teaching, he is dynamic, embraces new challenges and, as he says,
“Personal development helps us to set goals and reach our full potential. No one ever stops learning, which is why Education is the most important pillar in every country in the world.”

Ms. Carolann Gignac

is one of the international Program teachers at ISBB. She holds an Arts and Communication Diploma specialised in Television Broadcasting issued in Canada in 2008. She also has an ACCREDITAT certified advanced diploma in Teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) and an advanced certificate in teaching English to young Learners (TEYL). Her forte lies in English, Science and Social Studies. Ms. Carolann has gained a wide array of practical knowledge during her professional career. She perfected her skill set by acquiring expertise and experience in different countries such as Canada, New Zealand, Australia and those in the South-East Asian area. She has been involved in different types of organisations and always applies her humanity and understanding of the world in her interactions. She strongly believes that knowledge is power and takes good pride into educating an informed, cultivated and conscious next generation.

Ms. Frances Southwell

Ms Frances is an experienced international school teacher from Australia. She got her Teaching Degree in Australia, Since then she has devoted more than thirty years to teaching in Cambodia, China, Taiwan, Thailand and Australia. Frances is a first class Primary Homeroom Teacher with specialist skills and experience in Art, Learning Support, ESL, Environmental Education and Teacher Training. She believes that students are the heart and soul of the teaching/learning process. Learning takes on more meaning when students are involved in planning and assessment decisions. Frances is an expert at sharing the joy of working in a multicultural classroom like at ISBB.

Mr. Paul Stuart

Mr Paul also received his Teaching Degree in Australia. He too is an experienced international school teacher having devoted more than thirty years to teaching in Cambodia, China, Taiwan, Thailand and Australia. Paul is a Primary Homeroom Teacher and a Music Specialist. He is a multi-instrumentalist experienced with choirs, bands, student performances and teacher performances. Frances and Paul also pursued a career as performing and recording artists. Their current stage name is Possum Bush. Paul believes that Music and Performance have important roles to play in every learner’s cognitive and social development, social development.

Ms. Asha Bögenfurst

holds a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology issued in Germany in 2009. Her teaching forte lies in Social Studies, Psychology, and Developmental Studies. She is ISBB’s School Counselor. Ms. Asha has gained valuable experience in teaching, counselling and writing during her professional career. She has worked in multicultural and international settings in Malaysia, Germany and Cambodia. Her practical knowledge in Educational Psychology is applied both in her teaching and counselling practices. Ms. Asha hopes to help students fulfil their highest potential and be a positive influence in their lives.

Ms. Jethel Jane Ocon

teaches English, Maths and Science at the international School of Battambang. She will
also perform her duties as School Nurse. Ms. Jethel is a teacher with over 10 years of experience in education and community service in Cambodia. She holds a TESOL/TEFL certificate and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Music is part of her daily life, and she can play the guitar, the ukulele and the piano. She can also teach dancing and singing. She is a highly motivated, enthusiastic and educated educator who wants all children to be successful learners because she believes that we must “train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is older he will not depart from it.”

Mr. John Idowu

John ldowu is a Physical Education coach at the International School of Battambang. He is a professionally qualified Sport manager/physical education teacher/Coach with more than 10 years’ experience. He has completed a physical fitness training course, a goal keeper training course under the Federation International Football Association and attended a Level C soccer training course under the Asia Football Confederation’s Physical Education training course, The Spirit Football, a United States-based organization in Cambodia. As a graduate and also with years of experience in engineering, he presents as an energetic, ambitious person who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task that he undertakes or situation that he is presented with.
